Oktoberfest celebrations happen all over Ontario with the largest being in the Kitchener-Waterloo area with all sorts of events and activities.

CAVING

Rattlesnake Point

There are caves and crevases located in and around Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area in Milton. There is also a couple places there where you can go cliff repelling/rockclimbing. This trip is mainly for hiking and caving. The date will be announced, if you are interested - please discuss this in the forums under event ideas. (who's that infront of the cave?)

FESTIVAL

The Niagara Grape & Wine Festival is a non-profit organization that runs a series of seasonal wine festivals in the Niagara region.

CANADAS WONDERLAND
ALL SUMMER

Canadas wonderland is open most of the summer, season passes are $69.00 before May 15th so get them quick. There will be many trips to wonderland as well as to other amusement parks.

ARCHERY

This is an event where there is a limit of no more than 12 people. It will be held in the Parklawn + Queensway area or - in a feild/park/farmland


Gymnasium Rental Night

We will rent out a gymnasium and do anything we want with it. We can play any sport, use any of the equipment in the storage lockers for whatever we want, make up our own games, etc... 4 more people are needed minimum and we can do it weekly, bi-monthly, or whatever.


Air Combat

Come out and fly a fighter plane (HORNET) in simulated dog fights, bombings n shit (I'll put more up later.)

On a clear night we head somewhere north or west, away from city lights, find a feild and have a lil fire, put food on sticks, drink a bit, tell shtoopid stories, snowball fight, hang out n look at stars (still a fun night even if the stars arn't out) Bring food, music, blankets (fire keeps ya warm), chair, etc..
They sky is good to view 2 days before, during, and after a new moon.

Cobalt's Gathering - water fight, bring yer water guns and water balloons to a secret location, 7pm we fight, people will be devided up into equal numbered teams.

SCAVENGER HUNT #2

Kensington Market

The hunt will start at 11:00 am on Sunday June 18. This will be a 3 hour hunt that will require no transportation once you arrive. You may enter as a team of 4 or a group of 2 or 3 (or come by yourself) and we will fill out the teams of 4. We will all meet in Bellevue Square Park. From Spadina and Dundas go west on Dundas and turn right at the second street, Agusta. One block north of Dundas is the park and the starting point of the hunt. There is a $5.00 event fee for this. This is Fathers' day, so bring your father.

FIREWORKS
MONDAY MAY 22

Every year, Ashbridges Bay (foot of Woodbine + Lakeshore) has wonderfull fireworks. I've been going for years and it's worth going. I go every year rain or shine, walk along the boardwalk, walk up + down Queen St, hit a restaurant, people watch. I get there around 4-5:30pm to make sure I get a good parking spot (btw free parking cuz it's a holiday) and just hang out till the show starts at 9:45pm.

SCAVENGER HUNT

The hunt will start at 11:00 am on Sunday April 30 where Lee Ave meets the boardwalk in the beaches. The hunt will last exactly 3 hours. No car will be required so you will have to find a spot for you car for the afternoon.

There is also a dodgeball game set up in Scarborough, I am not personally putting this one together, but I will be a part of it, use this e-mail 4 more info jamesracing82@hotmail.com, talk to Terry Date: Saturday, January 21st at 11am to 12pm 1 hour for the first time out. If everyone can come a little earlier to this one so I can have you sign the waiver and collect the money, that would be greatly appreciated. Timing after this one will be every 2 weeks on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. Fee: The fee will be $5 each time you come out. Location: Stephen Leacock Arena: 2520 Birchmount Rd, 2 lights North of Sheppard on Birchmount on the west side. There is a huge parking lot and parking is free!!

Sat Jan 28 Snow Valley @ 3pm

The first tubing meet will be at Snow Valley @ 3pm so it's a good time for most , price is $20 for 4 Hrs includes lift and tube. We meet at 3 and hit the hill by 3:30 and run till almost 7pm, lots of time to make it back for your usual Sat night stuff. I will stick around in Barrie for dinner and the night, yer welcome to join me.
Snow tubing at Glen Eden in milton. $15 for the day but you must sign up to get the group rates. Snow Valley in Barrie has 4 hours for $20 or $16 for 6 hours between 10am and 4 pm only Mon-Fri

Quebec City Winter Carnival

The Quebec city winter carnival runs for 17 days with a tonne of activities, sights, sports, recreations, etc... It runs from late January to early Febuary. CLICK HERE for more info.
